Go Anywhere Bag

Ever since I discovered Noodlehead, I have wanted to try the Go Anywhere Bag pattern.  I found some nice Ty Pennington fabric on sale at Hawthorne Threads, and like magic it happened.  I made my first ever bag.

It was an excellent and very easy to follow pattern.  The bag came together rather quickly.  Not only is it a great design, it holds a bunch of stuff and is super functional.  Having an engineering education I totally appreciate when form follows function.

I can totally see myself making more of these bags in the future.  Maybe that is not a big statement for some people to make, but coming from this girl it is.  In this girl’s younger years she used to cringe at the p-word, purse, and instead called her bag Kenny.  Also, this girl has been known to carry around the same purse for well over a year at a time.  It’s true progress, trust me.
