I am in the middle of fulfilling a custom order for three different quilts. They are being made for two sisters and their brand new nephew. They are all different, but follow the same pattern and use great prints designed by Ann Kelle. The first is completed and the other two are well on their way.
They are all going to be backed with a white chenille fabric. It gives the quilt some extra loft. The chenille was easy to work with and had already softened quite a bit after the inital pre-wash.
I think my new favorite thing may be a striped binding! It ties in well with the front and adds some pop to the solid back.

Really, really good. I love the striped binding too! I’ve been making lampshades out of the monkey material for my stock collection. It’s a great mix you’ve done there.
